| | December 29th 2001 was the first day of Ukraine's Franchising Association work. The aim of this organization is to represent entrepreneurs and their partenrs that use franchise agreements on governmental level, support them practically while setting up and developing their business.
Along with active domestic work Association sets relations with foreign and international associations, studies foreign franchising experience and legislative background. The Association makes great contribution into development of such a perspective kind of entrepreneurship as franchising by implementing our achievements into practice.
Associations active work must be concentrated on two directions: legislative and educational. On one hand Ukraine has prepared conditions for a new step in developing franchising, on the other the word "franchising" remains unknown for a considerable part of entrepreneurs, especially small ones". This is how Association's work is seen by the Head of its Directorate Andriy Kryvonos.
This becomes possible due to Association's membership in:
- the Public Board of experts on legislation problems,
- the Confederation of public unions of entrepreneurs "New Formation's Commonwealth",
- the Public Board of the State Committee of Ukraine for regulatory policy and entrepreneurship,
- the Public Board of the State customs service of Ukraine.
Association provides the following services for its members:
1) in network developing:
searching for regional partners;
organizing business meetings fir Ukrainian and foreign potential franchisee;
organizing scientific, marketing consulting according to specific criteria;
providing a complex of services on registering trade marks and accompaniment of franchising agreements;
2) in new trade mark shaping:
complex working on franchises according to existing enterprise;
working on franchises according to business-plan;
3) in entering a network (for potential franchisee):
searching a network for entry under specific criteria (without respecializing) both in Ukraine and abroad;
searching for a network to set a new business in any country of the world;
4) in international ties:
organizing delegations to the international forums, exhibitions and conferences;
inviting and organizing trips for international associations and companies;
5) in advertising:
organizing trade mark presentations in regions;
complex preparing and realizing campaigns;
6) in education:
organizing seminars and trainings;
organizing educational seminars;
recruiting and training according to certain criteria;
7) in financing and insuring, securing business:
standardizing franchises that are offered for sale;
independent expertising of executing franchise agreements;
complex fundraising;
complex insuring;
accompanying franchise agreements.
Turn to Franchise Association with all questions on
franchising in Ukraine and abroad, about participation in expos, conferences,
seminars, about meetings with representatives of franchise companies. It was
created for this.
